International Japlac Metallic Finish Jet Black 250ml

This versatile product has a metallic lustre finish and is suitable for a wide range of hobbies and crafts. It can be used on wood, metal, paper, cardboard and most other surfaces. It's also ideal for brightening up old furniture, garden accessories, trinkets, decorations and bicycles.

It is ideal for both interior and exterior use.

Preparation:

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other contaminants. Bare surfaces: Prime with Japlac Primer Undercoat. Sand smooth and wipe clean. Previously painted surfaces: Remove any flaking or blistered paint/rust, and ensure any areas of bare wood or metal are spot primed. Always sand down and wipe clean.

Drying Time:

Touch dry in 2 hours. Overcoat in 6 hours. Drying times will be extended at low temperatures.

How to use

Stir well with a broad stirring stick to the bottom of the can. This is essential to ensure an even colour and finish. Apply two coats using a natural bristle brush suitable for solvent-based paints. Sand down lightly and wipe clean between coats.

Cleaning

Remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning. For best results use Polycell Brush Cleaner.
