The smart ‘touch control’ induction hob

Especially for magnetic based pans

Touch ‘Heat Pan’ for fast and even 120°C heating. Using +/- controls you can vary the heat in steps between 60°C and 240°C

Cooking time can be chosen using the ‘Timing’ +/- controls.

Frying heat – touch the button for 240°C pan-frying. This can be reduced in steps to 120°C.

Controls saucepan heating - to exact temperatures and times, just touch the buttons.

Boils a kettle and keeps it warm – for 15minutes, touch to start.

Heats milk – ready for a ‘chocolate’ drink and keeps it warm for 15 minutes.

Cooks a casserole – at controlled temperatures, touch to set cooking time.

Slow-cooks a meal all day, varying the temperature, touch to select time.

Keeps food warm – for up to 4 hours before serving.

How it works.

Avery strong magnetic field is created by electricity running through an electrical coil positioned under a ceramic plate.

The ‘induction current’ created by the magnetic field generates HEAT in any cookware, capable of being magnetised, standing on the ceramic plate.

Suitable cookware for induction hob use,

Only pans that can be magnetised can be used –

Cookware made of enamel coated steel with or without a non-stick coating

Cast iron cookware with or without enamel coated base

Stainless steel cookware specially designed for induction hob use or described as suitable for ‘all’ hobs

Aluminium cookware including hard anodised ONLY if it has bases specially prepared for induction hob use

Unsuitable cookware,

Cookware made of glass, ceramic, earthenware, aluminium without a special base or with a copper base, and stainless steel with a base that will not attract a magnet.

Any cookware with a BASE SMALLER than 12cm in diameter

Most current Stellar and Judge cookware ranges are suitable
